A group of hospitals was established in the State of Qatar to cater to the residents of Dukhan and Al-Shahaniya, one of which was the Cuban Hospital situated in Dukhan. The hospital is a joint venture between the governments of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Cuba. The hospital's workforce comprises more than 400 Cuban medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, and technicians specializing in various fields such as dentistry, rehabilitation, radiology, pathology, and biomedicine.
